As a health practitioner, I have come across many cases of misunderstandings between a health practitioner and a patient. The major scenario is when I found a patient who could not relate well with his caregiver thus resulting to overdose of the prescribed drugs.From that incidence, I felt it was important to develop a simplified guide for health professional in Australia on how they should interact with their patients. The most important issue I realized is that many health practitioners in the Australian hospitals lacked empathy. It is always important to place yourself in the condition of the patient.
